Modern mobile networks and terminals have enabled the common mobile user to receive high quality multimedia. Through the emerging ISO standard MPEG-21, denoted 'The 21st century multimedia framework', a technology describing the environment, in which content is distributed, has become available.

Adactus will develop software adapting high quality multimedia to modern terminals and networks based on the ISO standard MPEG-21. Audiovisual content will be presented through the modern standards H.263 and MPEG-4 within 3GPP encapsulation. These standards ensure efficient representation and encoding of the audiovisual content.

SportVU is a new technology company that has developed a Players/Ball tracking engine. This new solution is non-invasive, real time tracking system for live sport events such as Football, Cricket, American Football etc. (System continuously tracks entities such as players, referees and ball). It comprised of, three off the shelf fixed standard pc mini sensors, positioned in one location on the pitch, processing hardware running sophisticated image processing software and requiring only one operator.
