IBC VIDEO: Take second screen interaction to a whole new level

Together with never.no, Vizrt demonstrates the huge potential a combined TV and second screen offering provides.

As viewers and reader consume more and more content on the go, second screens are becoming increasingly important to broadcasters looking to interact with the audience. The living room no longer has a single TV in it. The daughter sits in front of a laptop, the son plays with his iPhone, the dad has a brand new iPad 2.

If targeted correctly, these platforms could potentially provide broadcasters with new income streams. A great example is TV 2 Norway's Tour de France app launched this summer.

Together with never.no and Reaktor, Vizrt created a companion app where users across the country could vote and then view the shifting outcome live on TV as the race unfolded.
