Viz World Explained

After Vizrt acquired Curious a few years back the map system has had a tremendous development and has been fully integrated into the Vizrt workflow. At IBC the new functions were demoed both through newsroom systems, designer tools and integated examples like the weather touch screen.

Ran Yakir, lead developer of Viz World tells about Vizrt's map solution

Viz World is now a client and server solutions where journalist and designers can access map data on the server right from their own desktop PC. The designer can access Viz World through an integrated solution in Viz Artist and journalists can access it though templates made by the designer in the newsroom component in their newsroom system. Ran Yakir, Head of R&D gives us an introduction to the benefits of the new workflow.
