Vizrt Scores Sales Of Over $1 Million In Pakistan

Bergen, Norway, September 6, 2006 – Pakistani broadcasters Geo TV and Television Media Network (TMN) recently selected Vizrt broadcast graphics software to significantly update their graphic look. Geo TV, the premier Pakistani satellite TV channel, broadcasting in the Urdu language, was Vizrt’s first customer in the country. Geo TV is now expanding its current core Vizrt technology for use on the network’s new music-only channels. TMN is set to launch new, 24/7 news channels in the country. This is the network’s first purchase of Vizrt software, which is intended to differentiate its first channel on-air as it prepares for the country’s 2007 elections.

With these two orders, Vizrt has expanded its market share in Pakistan with sales of 1.1 million dollars thus far during the third quarter of 2006.

Karachi-based AA Systems served as the systems integrator for TMN.
