CABSAT 2017

See the future of media publishing from Vizrt at CABSAT

Vizrt’s publishing tools are designed to give broadcast an easy and intelligent workflow for producing live content on-air, online, to mobile devices, to social media and VOD platforms. See Vizrt at CABSAT in Dubai on stand C3-10, in Hall 3.

Live IP-based productions

Viz Opus, Vizrt's compact control room solution, provides newscast automation, real-time graphics and video playout, including playout of commercials, all in a single cost-effective system. Make sure to talk to us about how our automation solution can open new opportunities for your content production and play-out. With no need for an extensive broadcast infrastructure, you can drive a complete live production for on-air or online with SDI or native IP streams from a single place.

Journalist-driven production

Vizrt's brand new tool Viz Story, already multi award winning, will be shown for the first time at CABSAT. The tool enables journalists to create stories for online and social media. Users can edit video whilst content is still being ingested, add state-of-the-art 3D graphics and branded maps to video timelines, and publish directly to Facebook or other online and social media targets for the fastest possible online workflow; all from the same easy-to-use web interface.

We will also be showing a preview of Viz Pilot Edge, the html-based newsroom plug-in, which enables journalists to populate graphics and video templates using their browser of choice, on Mac or PC.

Multiplatform distribution

Viz One, Vizrt’s media asset management (MAM) system, allows media companies to manage all of their content in a central repository. Viz One includes Coder, an easy tool for producing VOD variants for web and mobile distribution with resolutions up to 4K/UHD - including adding graphics. Coder also supports Live streaming and has been officially qualified by Akamai, a global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, ensuring full compatibility with Akamai’s Media Delivery Solutions.

Using Viz Engine’s IP functionality, Coder can provide device adapted graphics streams, delivering users relevant and beautiful graphics from their smartphone to their televisions.

The world’s most powerful graphics engine and video server

Viz Engine renders animated 3D scenes in real-time, producing high-end animations in HD, 4K and beyond. Viz Engine functions as a standalone video server as well as the graphics and video compositing platform for Vizrt products such as Viz Trio, Viz Pilot, Viz Weather, Viz Virtual Studio.

Controlling the screens in the studio

Studio productions are becoming more complex as broadcasters add more screens to give the journalists more storytelling options. The large number of screens in the studio requires a system that is easy to use and flexible enough to allow different content to be distributed to any of the screens on-demand. Viz Multiplay will be presented at CABSAT as a multiscreen and a Barco video wall control system. Vizrt will show how media companies use the system for displaying multiple video sources, clips and data-driven graphics – all controlled from an easy-to-use touch-screen interface running in a web browser

Augmented Reality in the studio

Come and see how to add AR content to any live production without the need of a chromakey wall. Our partner stYpe who provides camera tracking hardware, software and integration for real-time augmented reality and virtual studio broadcasting will also be at CABSAT this year.  You will see how you can combine your videowall and augmented-reality graphics together to provide a truly immersive experience for the viewer.  We will also show you how to have immersive weather graphics using a live weather feed from our partner Arabia Weather.
