Subtitle stories before publishing

A requirement in many countries is support for closed captions in broadcasts and online content. The latest version of Viz Story adds an efficient workflow for adding and managing subtitles to stories. Other workflows require multiple tasks such as an editor editing the clip and then a specialist creating the subtitles. Viz Story combines the tasks so the story creator can easily add subtitles within the timeline.

For clips with an associated subtitle file, the subtitles will download automatically when added to the timeline. These subtitles can then be easily edited in Viz Story. Subtitles can also be added to Viz Story from scratch. The subtitles automatically adjust based upon the output aspect ratio. When the story is complete, the subtitles are exported as VTT files, directly using social media APIs, or burned into the final video.

Easy graphics preview

Finding the right graphic for your story is key to ensuring the right branding for the final clip. The new graphic preview feature allows you to preview the graphic with animation in the library, before you drag it to your timeline. This saves time by ensuring you always choose the desired graphic.
