Skilled Technical Writer, Stockholm
Ardendo is a division of Vizrt focusing on creating software for the broadcast industry. Our product range includes tools for simplifying the work at TV stations, which means digitizing material, managing the media, video editing, transcoding between different media formats and archiving. Broadcasters all around the world use our products behind the scenes, including some well-known customers such as SVT, CNN, and BBC.

Ardendo is now expanding our current staff of 90 to meet the load from the constantly increasing number of customers. We are seeking a skilled technical writers to join our young and creative team in Stockholm.
To be eligible you should have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, and have relevant experience of professional technical writing. You should be self- motivated as a person and skilled at transforming technical solutions into comprehensive guides and manuals. Because of our international market, a client oriented attitude and excellent communication skills in English are key factors to become a successful technical writer. Any additional language skills, for example in Arabic, Russian, French, or Spanish, are considered merited. The work is done on world wide basis, and you will have great opportunities to travel and work abroad for a period of time.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communications skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Any additional native language skills are considered meriting
- Eye for structure and context
- A masters degree or professional experience in professional technical writing
- Self motivated, and responsive to customer requirements
- Comfortable in technically complex environments
- A minimum of 1 years experience of professional work from a relevant area
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive responsibility of Ardendo’s documentation work including quality assurance and publishing of technical documents
- Research, analyze, and author technical documents
- Manage multiple documents and delivery schedules in a dynamic environment
- Proofing of documentation prior to distribution to customers
- Participate in reviews of authored content, and respond in a timely manner with corrections
