Libero Highlight 5.0 is now available

The update to Libero Highlight 5.0 offers groundbreaking new features such as iPad control, clip export to Vizrt platform, and improved rendering quality. It also provides many valuable improvements for scene annotation, turn-around time and post-processing of clips.

New Annotations

The new release of Libero Highlight 5.0 includes new annotations to even better illustrate your analysis story:

The ground breaking and amazing Virtual Run lets players move while the scene remains frozen otherwise. Using this effect, you can highlight the isolated player’s futures moves.

The Greyboardeffect allows to highlight key players with a colored shine on top of a greyed background.

Dotted lines such as straight line, straight arrow, freehand line, and freehand arrow offer new options to depict running paths or pass options.

Also when creating tracks, a new option to display the track as dotted line is available.

The Magnifier Track lets you position the magnifier over time to follow a player

The 3D Offside Blade builds up a semi-transparent wall at the location of the offside line.

More flexibility in virtual views using Panorama Stitch

The new Panorama Stitch

feature gives you enhanced 3D flights, more flexibility in creating virtual views, and a better stadium experience than ever before.

By creating a panorama of the current stadium, creating the desired virtual view gets easier and more flexible.

iPad control of Telestrator

With Libero Highlight 5.0

it is possible to control the Telestrator application from an iPad offering an additional option for interactive studio show presentation. The real-time streaming technology works with a minimal delay such that interactive creation of an analysis or the playback control works instantly.

Clip Export to Vizrt Platform

Libero Highlight 5.0 is now integrated with Vizrt offering countless new possibilities to present, enhance, or distribute sports analysis clips.

The new clip export not only creates a video file of the Libero Highlight clip but also configured to include additional data files such as camera calibration tracking data, chroma-keying information, title and interaction points, a preview image or annotation information.

After an FTP transfer of the files, it can be rendered on the Viz Engine including your own graphic elements, integrated in an interactive studio show such as Sports Hub or iPad control using Viz Anchor, or even distributed to mobile phones or web pages.

Processing and Operating Speed-Ups

The live processing feature lets you create an analysis instantaneously from Scene Selection without creating a Clip first. Just use the available modules directly and start right away. Set IN and OUT, track a player, insert some annotations and you are ready for play-out. Within seconds, an in-game analysis is ready to go on-air! You should also use that feature during pre-game preparation steps since it saves lot of time.

For studio productions without EVS integration, the integrated video recorder lets you easily ingest video footage into a Libero Highlight project for further processing.

Additionally, Libero Highlight 5.0 now offers calibration detection for Basketball.

When creating tracks, you can start right away: With the first mouse click, the calibration is automatically detected and tracked while following a player.
