Social media on DR Weather with and Vizrt

Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) has added a new social aspect to their weather broadcast

During the weather announcement, a Facebook feed of viewer’s comments is displayed on air.

DR, using the Interactivity Suite, is able to capture weather related comments and updates from their viewers in real-time via their own Facebook weather page.

These incoming comments are passed through a moderation process in which producers and editors can select the most relevant comments.

Each selected comment is then ingested directly to the Viz Engine, making the workflow efficient and managable for non-technical users.
