New record numbers for Expressen TV

The viewing habits of the Swedish public are rapidly changing. Netflix is the biggest streaming service in Sweden with more than a million subscribers, and the consumption of television news on digital platforms, such as sites and apps, also continues to grow.

One of these fast growing players is Expressen TV, whose live broadcasts are getting a bigger audience and who earlier this year won the prestigious award for “Best breaking news broadcast online” during the Swedish Kristallen-Seminariet.

The viewership of Expressen TV on desktop has increased 119% in 2016 compared to 2015. The same numbers for mobile are 55%.
