Situated in the lobby of the Grimaldi Forum, the Vizrt booth was the first sight seen by guests of Sportel Monaco 2012. At a show where displays from ESPN, NBA, Bundesliga, Red Bull, and many more fill the convention center, Vizrt was able to stand out with the capability of our graphics systems to not only display data-driven and interactive graphics during a sport event but also our sports analysis tools.
Sportel Monaco is a tradeshow where broadcasters go to buy sports content rights from all the major sports leagues and content providers. Broadcasters send the decision makers that are able to make a deal at the show or continue a valuable relationship with the content providers.
Part of the considerations these broadcasters face is how to best capitalize on this content once they own the rights. With LiberoVision by Vizrt, they get a set of features that expand the content for sports analysis and instant replays. They can view plays from angles never before seen and create new content for analysis shows.
Sports graphics are also major concern and Vizrt creates some of the most recognized sports graphics used on air. With partners Reality Check, we demonstrated live data driven sports graphics that can be customized and used for any sport while keeping consistent branding.
Vizrt also demonstrated the social TV capabilities built into the Vizrt workflow. Using moderation tools, broadcasters are able to parse social media content and display the information in compelling ways. They can also use Vizrt tools like Viz Trio and Viz Multichannel to update social media sites online automatically.
Our team made some valuable contacts at the show and also met up with some long time customers who were looking to expand on their current configurations. We thank everyone who stopped by our booth, had an espresso and got a peek at what is truly possible with Vizrt.
