Flexibility and efficiency are the foundation of successful news presentations. Information from various sources needs to be collated, edited, and adjusted to branding guidelines before publishing. In addition, audiences have come to expect more than just the basic facts of every story. Multimedia elements, such as video, audio, and graphics have become a natural part of the presentation.
Escenic Content Studio’s open editorial workflow allows publishers to keep content alive and fresh. After releasing a first version of a story it can be iteratively refined and enriched with new content.
Escenic Content Studio allows you to work with the richest version of the content, and automatically adapt it to each website and channel. It provides an efficient desktop environment to manage text, images video, graphics, maps, tags, time-controlled content, etc. Content producers can focus on the content, not how it will be presented on each website, or in each channel. This is automatically handled by the presentation layer.
Escenic Content Studio is easily extendable with additional modules that enable integration with Vizrt graphics and asset management systems. 3D graphics, maps, and video can be added to stories and content can be published across different platforms.
Widget Framework is a configuration layer that enables users to create complex layouts with simple drag-and-drop operations. Each widget represents a certain functionality or layout and can be freely positioned on the page. All the widgets in the Widget Framework can be configured to suite various needs. In addition, users can develop their own widgets or expand on the existing widgets, and even share widgets with other Vizrt customers.
The Widget Framework allows users to change websites without the need for coding and subsequent debugging. All layout work and configuration is done directly in Escenic Content Studio, and changes take effect immediately across all websites and channels.
New maps, including 3D objects and animations, can be created from within Escenic Content Studio, directly at the journalist’s desktop. The user prepares the map by simply choosing a location in the Viz World database and then fills the templates with additional information, such as a reporter’s name etc. The finished map can then be used on the web, TV or in print.
Viz Media Engine
is Vizrt’s media asset management system. It allows users to easily search video clips, stills, and audio files from within Escenic Content Studio and then publish them with a story.
Viz Media Engine is a stand-alone, modular system that can evolve to match growing demands for storage or a larger user base.
In addition, Viz Media Engine features two professional desktop editing applications that allow journalists to easily edit video files from their desktop.
Viz Content Pilot provides a perfect environment for the creation, management and delivery of high volumes of top-quality graphics; independant of the design department. The consequent use of templates allows the editorial staff to enter data, images and videos into predefined graphic animations and to preview the end result instantaneously within Escenic Content Studio. The graphics can be posted with the stories as stills, videos or interactive 3D elements.
Vizrt Online Suite lets you publish live, personalized, interactive content on the web. The application allows journalists to generate live animated graphics with their stories. It also ties in with the Viz Community Expansion to create one of the most powerful live events systems on the web. Hundreds of thousands of users can visualize and interact with live events such as elections, sports or games. Every online viewer receives a personalized mix of graphics, video and data.
