Installation Notes

Prerequisites 32bit systems (Windows XP, closed systems)

Updating to Viz Libero 5.5.0 on x64 systems requires the following items to be installed in the given order:

  1. Libero Core system version of 1.4.3
  2. Nvidia Graphics drivers:
    1. 310.90 for Geforce cards
    2. 311.35 for Quadro cards
  3. Viz Libero 5.5.0 update
  4. An patch file for updating the application data (LV_DATA) provided as .update file to be installed using Startup Application à System Maintenance à Update

All required software components will be made available by Vizrt provided as .update file to be installed using Startup Application à System Maintenance à Update.

Prerequisites 64bit systems (Windows 7/x64, full system access)

Updating to Viz Libero 5.5.0 on x64 systems requires the following items to be installed in the given order:

  1. LiberoVision Tools version of version 2.2.2
  2. Libero Core system version of 1.4.3
  3. Nvidia Graphics drivers:
    1. 310.90 for Geforce cards
    2. 311.35 for Quadro cards
  4. Viz Libero 5.5.0
  5. An patch file for updating the application data provided as .update file to be installed using Startup Application à System Maintenance à Update

All required software components will be made available by Vizrt as .msi or .update Files.

Project compatibility

With Viz Libero 5.5.0 it is possible to open and play back projects that were created using Libero Highlight 4.5 and later. However, editing such projects might lead to corrupt clips. Projects that are created using Viz Libero 5.5.0 can’t be opened using Libero Highlight (any version).
