Viz Trio 2.10.1

Viz Trio 2.10.1 is a maintenance release that also contains re-introduced functionality that was part of 2.9, but removed for 2.10.

Functionality Removed or Changed

  • Deprecated settings (visible containers and font encoding) added to Viz Engine setup dialog.
  • Viz handlers which have multiple renderers configured will get a warning sign.
  • Support for concept override for a Viz Engine of a channel added.
  • Added loading errors for video clips to the tool tip of the available column of pages in the page list.
  • Added check of Media Sequencer version 1.20.0 or higher.
  • Added possibility to set channel on a group in the new play list. This recursively sets the channel on each non-video element in the group and its sub groups
  • Reworked channel related commands for the currently active profile.
  • Fixed the following commands to work with multi-engine channels.
    • channelcontrol:add_channel
    • channelcontrol:remove_channel
    • channelcontrol:get/set_program_channel
    • channelcontrol:get/set_preview_channel
    • channelcontrol:set_channel_hosts
    • trio:cleanup_channel
    • trio:cleanup_renderers
    • trio:clear_program
    • trio:clear_preview
  • Added new commands to handle video channels.
    • channelcontrol:get/set_video_program_channel
    • channelcontrol:get/set_video_preview_channel
    • channelcontrol:set_video_channel_hosts
  • Removed the old channel status dialogs and added the memory usage information to the channel popups in the new channel status bar.
  • Added the missing story number column to the new play list view.

In addition, a number of issues has been resolved.

  • Media Sequencer 1.20 or later
  • Viz Engine 2.8 and 3.3
