Viz Content Pilot 5.5

Viz Content Pilot New Features: 

• Added a new video timeline editor to the Newsroom Component that allows timing of graphics on top of video.
• Added the possibility to add concept overrides on channels in the Viz Content Pilot client's profile configuration
• Added a new Clip List view to Viz Content Pilot's client to offer video items from various video servers (MVCP)
• Added VDCP playout vizualisation to Viz Content Pilot's client
• Added additional database tables for the "Image Queue" order-management system

Important Installation Notes

• The release of Viz Content Pilot 5.5 also includes a maintenance release of Viz Media Sequencer Engine (version 1.21.1)

This release has been tested to work with:

• Viz Content Pilot DBA 1.2
• Viz Engine 2.8 and 3.5
• Viz Media Sequencer Engine 1.21.1
• Viz Multiplexer 1.4

Upgrading to 5.5.0 requires an update of the database schema using the VCP Database Administrator (VCP DBA). The upgrade scripts are supplied with the installation package.

Note: Upgrading from a VCP version below 5.x requires a major update of the database structure and therefore recommended to be performed in coordination with Vizrt support
