Viz Multichannel version 2.4 is a major release which includes support for Viz Link, new field formats, database read and more.

It is recommended for new installations and customers who require the new features.

Main new features & bugfixes:

• Supports Viz Link for Viz Video Hub integration; Clips as primary events, clips editor, transfer progress playlist column and more. (Read the release notes for installation information).
• New field formats for automatically reading playlist information. E.g. Wn (day of the week), Xn (Relative day), Dmmdd ( absolute day), Cxxx (Given channel). Some tags can be used in combinations. Usage examples and restrictions are documented in the release-notes file.
• Added support for populating page content from external ODBC source.
• PlaylistHistoryManager can now purge templates and older pages in a predefined period.
• Added custom attribute dialog that lets users override the field ID assigned to the control plugin.
• Added support for Viz Commands secondary events coming from traffic playlist
• New dialog will indicate when MSE connection was lost
• Added option to export pages
• Extended PlaylistImporter to send pages to a remote MSE
• Import Rules moved to main window
• Added option to make a playlist run in loop mode
