Viz Content Pilot 5.1.10 is a maintenance release.

This version contains bug fixes in Viz Content Pilot client, Viz Template Wizard, and Viz Content Pilot's Newsroom Component.

It is recommended as an update to all 5.0 and 5.1 installations, and for new installations.

New Features:

• Oracle 10.2.0.4 is now supported.

Fixed issues:

• Viz Template Wizard's map component now defaults to a full Viz Curious Maps Editor.
• Import and export operations will no longer process any elements before the user clicks Next.
• Saving a data element using the Newsroom Component to a large data list (2000+ elements) took a long time because the list was automatically sorted. Sorting is now disabled and must be performed manually. New elements are added at the top of the list.
• Maps inserted into a template that sometimes caused the Newsroom Component inside iNEWS to crash is now fixed.
• The options to create and/or delete instances on Viz, using the Viz browser available in the Viz Content Pilot client and Newsroom Component, is now disabled.
• Tooltips in the Newsroom Component can now be switched off by adding a property named "ax_show_hints" with parameter "0" to the VCP database parameters table.

Important installation notes:

Upgrading to 5.1.10 requires an update of the database schema using the VCP Database Administrator (VCP DBA). The upgrade scripts are supplied with the installation package.

Note: Upgrading from a VCP version below 5.x requires a major update of the database structure and therefore recommended to be performed in coordination with Vizrt support
