Canais Globo (formerly Globosat) uses suite of Vizrt tools in it’s new production eco-system
Brazil’s largest multichannel cable and satellite TV service, Canais Globo (formerly Globosat), began using graphics from Vizrt in 2009. Their aim has been to build a production ecosystem that smoothly publishes content to many platforms without adding cost – this is where Vizrt adds value. They now use Vizrt systems for each of their live productions.
Canais Globo works with Vizrt products across their multiple channels (a figure that changes weekly), especially across their demanding sports channels.They typically produce an average of 70 different live sports events each weekend.
When the Olympic Games came to Rio in 2016, Canais Globo boosted their Vizrt solutions in order to easily manage the vast amount of content that was about to hit their network.
They expanded their operation with 13 temporary channels dedicated to covering sports events from the Games using broadcast graphics, automation, sports analysis and media asset management tools from Vizrt.
