Media Sequencer

Media Sequencer 5.8 is released. This feature upgrade introduces critical enhancements to support the new Pilot Core Service (PCS) including previews backed by PCS and improved keep-alive behavior in Viz Gateway.

Important Licensing Note
Starting with MSE 5.8, an important licensing change has been introduced:

A valid MSE_PLAYOUT license is now required to continue using the production workflow. Before upgrading please contact Vizrt to ensure that the correct license is available.

This release is recommended for all new installations and for customers who are upgrading. The installer can be found on the FTP site in the folder /products/VizMediaSequencer/LatestVersion

Media Sequencer 5.7 is a feature upgrade for customers running Media Sequencer 5.6 or older. This version includes improvements for workflows using Viz Multiplay and many other updates. Media Sequencer 5.5 is a feature upgrade for customers running Media Sequencer 5.4 or older. This upgrade contains many improvements including functionality for new features in several other Vizrt products: Viz Multiplay, Viz Mosart, and Viz Arc.
