Immersing audiences, monetizing content, and boosting workflow efficiencies: the IBC 2025 Recap

Blogs

We’re back from Amsterdam! Every year, IBC is a unique opportunity to connect with partners, end users, customers, and everyone passionate about live production and visual storytelling. Vizrt’s booth was a dynamic and interactive space, buzzing with conversations and demonstrations on what can be achieved across media & entertainment, sports, enterprise, and content creation.

From the automation solution that simplifies and speeds up production workflows, enabling more time for teams to focus on their creativity; to sports solutions that lower the barrier to entry in creating stunning augmented reality (AR) graphics and in-depth analysis – this year’s IBC was all about how to best engage and immerse audiences, no matter which device they tune in from.

At the Vizrt booth, we also highlighted the partnership between Zoom and TriCaster, which elevates the viewing experience while simplifying remote live connections for live productions of all types. Whether it’s a town hall, a lecture, a webinar, or a live stream, bringing in remote guests can be seamless and integrated, while looking smooth and engaging for viewers.

And to top it all off, Vizrt brought home TWO Best of Show awards, for the innovations introduced in Viz Engine 5.4 and Viz Arena 6!

Automated Live Events

Automation has been a game-changer for consistency and speed, no matter the size of the production team. Focusing on live event automation outside of the newsroom, this area showcased how the TriCaster and Vizrt’s automation tools work together to control switching, graphics, and screens, in a scripted or unscripted format – all from a single operator setup.

AI-Enhanced Virtual Studios

Virtual studios can provide many purposes, with the right set up designed to deliver more dynamic, insightful, and visually compelling studio coverage and content. Production teams can scale up visual quality without scaling production costs; enabling consistent, on-brand content across linear, OTT, and social platforms.
