Canais Globo (formerly Globosat) installed Viz One, Vizrt’s MAM system solution, ahead of the London Olympic Games in 2012.
Despite being installed for sports production, the solution works well for Canais Globo’s wide variety of productions, including movies, entertainment and news. The MAM system manages permissions and gives access to content, smoothly and simply for journalists.
Canais Globo have an archive team that manage the MAM system and ensures a very simple workflow for the journalist in getting content to air.
Today, Canais Globo are archiving around two petabytes of content per year in their Viz One MAM system.
With Viz One and the MAM system it has helped our journalists tell their stories and helping those stories go on linear, on OTT and in an advanced, smooth and cost-effective way.
