20 September 2023: Powered by Viz Engine 5, Vizrt’s powerful real-time live 3D graphics renderer and compositor, and supported by NDI In/NDI Out capability, Viz Arena can now be deployed in the cloud as well as on-premises. Add in a 3Play by Viz Now integration, as well as a quicker calibration process, and Viz Arena – powered by Viz AI, is the perfect live image-based tracking sports solution for AR graphics and virtual advertising insertions.
13 July 2023: Viz Arena.5.1.2 is a maintenance release which contains a major fix required by select customers and some other minor fixes. The installer and all attachments are available on the Vizrt FTP site.
2 August 2022: Viz Arena’s unrivalled tracking functionalities have been extended to AI-powered keying technology trained for Soccer and Basketball, fail-safe Advanced Cut detection, a fully integrated Viz Arc and an open control API. With this release, Viz Arena is becoming smarter, more flexible and more convenient to operate, making it easy to raise the production value of any sports coverage with live 3D virtual graphics.
26th January 2022: This is a maintenance release with improvements and bug fixes. It now supports UHD workflows for the two-box setup and additional graphic cards certifications. Installation files, notes and driver requirements are available for download on the FTP site.
5 October, 2021: The latest version of Vizrt’s live sports enhancements tool joins the unified IO, unified IO platform, Vizrt’s backbone for future sports developments. Completing this integration builds a consistent and robust base for easy, flexible and reliable production integrations and supports all the latest high-resolution and IP video formats.
7 November, 2021: This is a maintenance release with improvements and minor bug fixes: support for NVIDIA RTX graphic cards. Installation files, notes and driver requirements are available for download on the FTP site.
30 April, 2021: The latest version of Vizrt’s virtual advertisement system allows you to apply virtual graphics onto any random sport event, in real-time. The new release brings along further improvements to the camera tracking, chroma keying and an automatic overlay mask detection will extend Viz Arena’s downstream capabilities.
