Logger 7.2.0
Logger is a cataloging tool for Viz One that simplifies the adding of rights, compliance, scene descriptions, and QC logging. As media is logged, the log entries are immediately added to the original media in Viz One.
Multiple users can work simultaneously on the same media. From Studio, these logs are presented clearly on the media item’s Log tab. All log entries conform to the standard Vizrt Data Format (VDF) specification and components.
This opens up availability of Vizrt’s powerful metadata components such Directories and Dictionaries.
New Features
Apple ProRes Playback in Logger
This version adds support for ProRes format playback which extends the QC workflow. Please note that Apple ProRes is a high-fidelity heavy format that requires a lot of network bandwidth and computing power.
The main use-case for ProRes playback is for playing back material to confirm the playback quality. Other operations such as high-speed scrubbing and jogging are extremely heavy and are thus not intended to be used.

Following ProRes formats are subject to be tested in later Logger versions which required high network bandwidth and hardware configuration.

Improvements
Logger is now a 64 bit Application
Logger is migrated from 32 to a 64 bit application environment, providing significant application improvements. As examples, high resolution media plays smoothly and when working with many logs on several tracks, they load faster.
Display Current Media Title in Player
This version shows the title of the media the user currently working with which makes it easier for the users to track the loaded media.
Support for 30fps Non-broadcast Format Media
Logger now can play exact 30 fps material which enables playback of non-broadcast format media.
