Based in Toulouse, France, Robert Thivet is a experienced designer and technologist with a strong background in electronics, interactive systems, and visual storytelling. He is the founder of Stellence, a studio specializing in technology-driven creative solutions for museums, trade shows, live events, and television.
Robert’s technical foundation was formed early on through formal education in electronics and industrial computing. He holds a University Technology Diploma (DUT) in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing, with a major in Electronics, from the Cachan Institute of Technology (University of Paris-Saclay). Prior to that, he graduated with highest honors from Gaston Bachelard High School with a specialization in Industrial Science and Technology, focusing on electronics. This strong academic background has shaped his ability to bridge creativity and technology throughout his career.
Robert’s interest in Viz Artist developed naturally through his professional network. Many of his clients rely on Vizrt software to create broadcast graphics for television channels around the world. While his career has given him hands-on experience with numerous visualization and real-time graphics tools—often focused on museums, exhibitions, and live events—broadcast graphics has always been a long-term goal.
By completing a Vizrt certification, Robert demonstrates both his technical proficiency and his commitment to meeting broadcast-industry standards.
