Viz World 24
May 15th, 2025 | Viz World 24Â empowers broadcasters to create professional and engaging satellite maps like never before. By leveraging Maxar’s new MGP Pro satellite service, you can access high-resolution global base map imagery at 30cm HD, ensuring your maps are both visually stunning and accurate. Additionally, the new service offers cost predictability, allowing you to stay on top of your usage with monthly data usage reporting.
As we transition to this new service, please note that the Maxar SecureWatch and Microsoft Bing Maps satellite services will be deprecated on June 30th, 2025. Customers using the Maxar SecureWatch or Basic Bing Maps satellite services must update to Viz World 24 by 30th June 2025 to avoid potential disruption in service. Existing Maxar SecureWatch subscribers will seamlessly transition to the new Maxar MGP Pro service and there will be no additional cost involved.
A new license will need to be issued, so please speak to your Vizrt Account Manager to get this.
For Viz World customers not currently using a satellite service (or using other 3rd party services), this update offers a great opportunity to improve your map graphics with the leading satellite service from Maxar.

Viz World 23
December 13th, 2023 | Viz World 23 features several improvements, including the latest Collins Bartholomew base map data for 2023. We’ve worked closely with the data provider to ensure the most up-to-date global updates including recent accuracy adjustments for Brazil, Iran, and Afghanistan. This release also improves user experience and workflow by resolving some bugs such as the occasional deformation of labels, the inheritance of KLM subfolder permissions, and others.

Open Street Map Update
December 7th, 2022 | The latest beta version of Open Street Map data for Viz World now includes extended green areas and buildings (new addition) as well as general improvements. Documentation on downloading and installing the data can be found on the Vizrt FTP under /products/VizWorld/Data/Vector/OSM/Beta/latest. Please note that a valid CDataOSMWORLD 22.00 license or newer is required to use the data.
Open Street Map Update
March 3rd, 2022 | Open Street Map data for Viz World has been updated and is available in the Beta version. Documentation on downloading and installing the data can be found on the Vizrt FTP at /products/VizWorld/Data/Vector/OSM/Beta. Please note that a valid CDataOSMWORLD 22.00 license is required to use the data.
