Azure

Azure

Microsoft Azure is a continually expanding set of cloud services that help organizations meet current and future business challenges. Azure gives the freedom to build, manage, and deploy applications on a massive global network using one’s favorite tools and frameworks.

Microsoft Azure allows running services on Microsoft’s own Hyperscale Infrastructure of compute and network resources present in more than 37 WW regions following these principles.

  • Build on your terms: You have choices. With a commitment to open source, and support for all languages and frameworks, you can build how you want and deploy where you want to.
  • Operate hybrid seamlessly: On-premises, in the cloud, and at the edge–we’ll meet you where you are. Integrate and manage your environments with tools and services designed for a hybrid cloud solution.
  • Trust your cloud: Get security from the ground up, backed by a team of experts, and proactive compliance trusted by enterprises, governments, and startups.
  • Azure provides more than 100 services that enable you to do everything from running your existing applications on virtual machines to exploring new software paradigms, such as intelligent bots and mixed reality.

Vizrt Production Control

Vizrt Production Control is a single solution for end-to-end software-based production, graphics, control, and automation for daily news, live sports, and other live productions. The solution can be fully deployed using Microsoft Azure. The Vizrt Production Control uses IP connectivity to achieve instant access to, and seamless interchange with sources from, anywhere across the network in real time. Running the Vizrt Production Control suite on Microsoft Azure enables remote production when staff cannot gather on location. Operation of the solution can occur from any compatible desktop or mobile device remotely, even in virtual environments.

Viz One

Viz One is a centralized and scalable platform to effortlessly ingest, manage, archive, edit, and deliver media along with associated metadata for creating a range of programming for multiple types of viewing experiences. Viz One can use Azure Storage for several use cases. Firstly, Azure can provide native permanent storage for high-resolution video and audio files. Cloud-based permanent storage offers increased resiliency and requires lower storage expertise. Secondly, Azure can store proxy media used by Viz One Studio and Viz Story to optimize the remote user experience. The integration with Azure storage supports lifecycle management policies, allowing media to be automatically transitioned to different storage tiers to optimize cost and performance.
