Viz One 8
February 25th, 2025 | Viz One 8 Early Access is now officially available, This major release introduces a rebuilt, orchestrated container backend architecture; the biggest change to Viz One in over a decade. This makes it much more flexible, scalable, and resilient, easier to deploy in any on-premises, cloud, or hybrid technology stack, and makes future upgrades much easier to undertake. Active customers should reach out to their Account Manager to discuss upgrading!
Viz One 7.6
December 20th, 2024 | Viz One 7.6 is now officially available. They key update in this minor release is the introduction of a new unified proxy format that replaces the MPEG-DASH as the default proxy format that is produced in Viz One when ingesting. It tackles common issues customers have had with storing old MPEG-DASH proxies (due to them consisting of many small files, which media storage systems aren’t typically optimized for).

July 5th, 2024 | Viz One 7.5.4 is now officially available. This maintenance release introduces several bug fixes and further improvements to the new Viz One Exchange integration with Avid Interplay.

Studio 8.2
September 22nd, 2023 | Viz One 7.5 and Studio 8.2 are now officially available. For Viz One, we’ve introduced a new automated workflow for the enrichment of content coming from sports data providers, the ability to watermark content viewed within Studio or exported from Viz One systems, and the ability to scale transcoding nodes on AWS to cater to peak demand at enterprise customers. For Studio, several key new features have also been introduced around logging, logtrack functionality, and segmentation. Viz One 7.4.2
April 23rd, 2023 | Viz One 7.4.2 is now officially available. This is a maintenance release and includes several bug fixes official support for Rocky Linux 8. Highlights include improvements in performance of authentication in Keycloak, API-REST performance, search profile loading performance improvement in Studio, and metadata support for assets imported through AWS S3 storage. December 12th, 2021 | Maintenance releases of Viz One 7.2.2 and Viz One Studio 7.2.1. Viz One’s latest maintenance release brings 22 bug fixes and performance enhancements to improve the user experience, management of collections and collection membership; member search and multi-level search fixes; timecode and duration fixes; and partial restore and metadata fixes for Interplay integration. Viz One Studio 7.2.1 brings 8 fixes and user interface enhancements, improved representation of timecode jumps. Logger 7.3
September 7th, 2021 | Minor release of Viz One Studio 7.2.0 and Logger 7.3.0, with maintenance releases of Viz One 7.2.1, Coder 3.3.1 and Easycut 6.1.1. Those include an improved representation of timecode jumps in Studio, transcription features in Logger, along with bug fixes related to search/indexing module, UI improvements in Easycut, and fixing some format-related issues in Coder. Viz One 7.2
July 23rd, 2021 | This is a minor release of Viz One, which ships with Studio 7.1.0, Adobe Assistant 2.3, and Coder 3.3. Highlights include Search indexing and performance enhancements, Audio level meters in Viz Studio, and a new highlights creation tool. Viz One 7.1.2
April 26th, 2021 | Viz One 7.1.2 maintenance release is now officially released. A total of 18 fixed issues and two improvements. Highlights include various fixes to clarify the upgrade process to Viz One 7.1, migration script improvements for the SSO feature, administrator guide changes to clarify the upgrade process, keycloak upgrade, and stability improvements, search component fixes improving the accuracy of search returns, fixed an issue affecting the connection between Viz Engine and Viz One 7.1.
