But getting access to this type of material stored on EVS systems has in many cases proved to be a difficult bottleneck. The EVS plug-in for Viz Artist is gives Vizrt customers easy access to this material.

Clips on the EVS are organized in pages and banks. Each clip is defined by an in and out point on the fully ingested video. In the Viz Engine plugin you can set up which clip should be loaded and you get back the time-codes for in and out point. When a clip is selected for play out you can control the play-back on the EVS and the video signal can enter the Viz Engine as live video. You can also jump to a specific time-code within the clip.
